2024 Season Preview: Seawolves Women’s Basketball
(Saint John, NB) Under new leadership, the Seawolves women's basketball team is eager to build upon last season's experiences.
Finishing the regular season with a 4-14 record, the Seawolves were seen as the underdogs. With new leadership, the valuable experience of returning players, and the promising potential of new additions, the team is optimistic about the 2024-25 season.
Coaches Perspective
"The biggest goal I have for these girls is to enjoy the experience of playing university basketball. They're working hard; they are a super keen group. Coming in for extra sessions, coming in on the weekend, so I'm really encouraged, and I think we are going to have a good season."

Home Opener
The Seawolves women's basketball team begins their 2024 season at St. Thomas University on Friday, October 25. UNB's home opener will take place on Saturday, November 2, against Mount Allison University at 2 p.m. at the G. Forbes Elliot Athletics Centre.
